Email us at: clama_pa@yahoo.com.

Who runs the harvester?

We have paid employees.

Why don’t we just use more chemicals and not use the harvester at all?

Chemicals, although effective in the short term, cause the weeds to decompose in the lake and become fertilizer for next year’s weeds.

What are homeowner’s responsibilities?

We encourage all homeowners in the CL Watershed to use phosphorus free lawn fertilizers. Lakefront homeowners should care for their lakefront by removing all debris and floating organic matter utilizing a responsible method of disposal.

On the average, how many pounds of weeds does the harvesting operation remove from the lake each summer?

Approximately 200-250 tons depending on the weather.
